The Moment That Changed Everything

Couples Coaching

It was the moment that changed everything for me.

Life had not turned out as I had hoped.

I had always wanted to live out on the family farm. It had been my dream since I was a little kid.   The problem was that I had been there for over seventeen years and was totally dissatisfied with all aspects of my life, including my marriage at the time.

When my first marriage finally ended, I thought that a fresh start would allow me to find happiness. The problem was that I always looked outside of myself to bring joy to my life.

It wasn’t until I was visited by an old friend, that I realized I was worthy of happiness, and that I held the key to my own happiness.

How did this happen?

This friend listened to me deeply and without interruption. This friend did not judge me for my poor decisions in the past. This friend did not ask me for anything in return. The friend was fully present during the time we spent together.

I poured my heart and soul out completely the day we talked. When I was finished, my friend asked, “What about you? What do you need in your life to be happy?”

My friend had offered me a new perspective for my next steps in life. I was not given advice. I was merely asked the question that I needed to hear. It was the spark that I needed to look for what I needed. This was not about anyone or anything around me. This was my call to action.

I realized that I needed to stop ruminating on my actions in the past and focus on who I wanted to become in the future. This was the moment that changed everything.

Since that day, every aspect of my life has changed.  Career, home, mindset, and most importantly, I am now finding my voice.

It is now my mission to create this space of safety for you. As a Credentialed Life Coach I believe that you deserve to be happy too.

When you are ready for a change in your life, I will provide a safe place for you to move from where you are to where you want to be.

So now I ask you, “What about you? What do you need to be happy?”

Oh, in case you are wondering who my friend is, I married her. Her name is Cella.  We, together, are Enlightened Way New Day Coaching and Consulting.
